“Developing Resiliency with Engaging Approaches to Maximize Success (DREAMS) Program was created in response to the overwhelming need for youth support programming to empower students in New Jersey to better manage the anxiety, stress, and fear that ensued as a result of the pandemic.
The DREAMS initiative focuses on providing trauma-informed and healing centered supports that assist staff and students in building positive relationships and emotional self-regulation.”
Inner Wealth Inventory
Definition:
The Inner Wealth Inventory(IWI) is a wellness-based screening tool for measuring Inner Wealth. Inner Wealth is a strengths-based construct that emphasizes internal enrichment and empowerment.

Higher levels of Inner Wealth were associated or correlated with lower levels of anxiety and depression at statistically significant levels among a national sample of U.S. adults.
Promising Path to Success (PPS)
Designed to prevent violence, trauma, and the use of seclusion and restraint.
PPS is a statewide trauma-informed approach built on Six Core Strategies (6CS) and the Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA), designed to reinforce success.

Nurtured Heart Approach &

Hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattention went from high levels prior to one parent taking the NHA six-week online class, to low and negligible levels following the class.
NHA Foundations Course
NHA Foundations Course is a 6-week online course designed to train parents on the principles and practices of NHA.
Groups 1 & 2
Group 1 started the NHA Foundations Course in February and Group 2 started in March
Ages 6-8
Participants had a child ages 6-8 diagnosed with ADHD or suspected ADHD.

All participants were invited to complete three surveys over the course of the study period.
